Rizkan Chandra was born in Jakarta, January 27th, 1969. Rizkan becomes the youngest Director in Board of Executive of Telkom Group. He received his M.Sc. from National University of Singapore in 2000 after claimed his bachelor of computer science degree from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1992.
In his twenty-years career in Telkom since 1993, Rizkan has been conducting several strategic position in multi disciplinary at Telkom, such as General Manager of Planning & Development at Multimedia Division, Vice President Infrastructure at Infrastructure and Service Planning, Head of Division of Telkom Learning Center, President Director (CEO) at Sigma Cipta Caraka - one of Telkom's subsidiary -, and also as Commissioner at Telkomsel, the largest cellular operator in Indonesia until now.
Rizkan is the one who first declare cloud computing and main implementer of data center in Telkom. He also the main person behind the implementation of IP-based Next Generation Network as well as network modernization in Telkom and the designer of Palapa Ring as the basic backbone of East Indonesia.
Roberto Minerva, has a Master Degree in Computer Science from Bari University, Italy, and a Ph.D in computer Science and Telecommunications from Telecom Sud Paris, France.
Roberto is the head of Innovative Architectures group within the Future Centre in the Strategy Department of Telecom Italia. His job is to create advanced scenarios derived from the application of emerging ICT technologies with innovative business models especially in the area of IoT, distributed computing, programmable networks and personal data. He held many responsibilities within Telecom Italia Lab: Network Intelligence, Wireless Architecture and Business Services Area Manager. Roberto is also a contract Professor at Turin’s Polytechnics teaching a course on mobile services. He is the Chairperson of the IOT workgroup within IEEE’s FDC.
Since 1987 he has been involved in the development of Service Architectures for Telecom (TINA, OSA/Parlay and SIP), in activities related to IMS, and in the definition of services for the Business market (context-awareness, ambient intelligence and automotive). More recently his contribution is in the area of new architectures for the service provision with particular attention to data centric and user centric solutions. Under this perspective he is currently involved in Telecom Italia activities related to highly distributed architectures with particular reference to Big Data, Personal Data, Internet of Things, Software Defined Networking, Self Organizing Networks, Smart Environments and ICT technologies for leveraging Cultural Heritage.
Roberto is authors of several papers published in international conferences, books and magazine.
Radu POPESCU-ZELETIN is professor at the Technical University Berlin and Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS), Berlin. Prof. Popescu-Zeletin graduated at the Polytechnical Institute Bucharest, Romania, got his Ph.D. from the University of Bremen, and his habilitation from the Technical University Berlin.
He published many papers and books on network technologies, distributed computing systems and applications. He was active in standardization committees (DIN, ISO, WWRF) and had contributed to the development of telecommunication standards. His is chair for “Open Communication Systems” at the TU Berlin is highly involved in the development of technologies for “I-centric communication” and “Autonomic Communication” as main constituents of the Future Internet.
He is founder of several telecommunication companies: IKV++ Technologies AG, IVISTAR AG, Testing Technologies IST GmbH, TwonkyVision GmbH, ICAM GmbH, Iptel.org GmbH, BITTUBES GmbH, eGov Consulting and Development GmbH, Trusted Safe GmbH, Match Technologies GmbH, DLC – Direct Link Consult GmbH.
Council, founder of the ISPRAT e.V. (Interdisciplinary Studies on Policy, Law, Administration and Technology e.V.) and of the Wireless World Research Forum. As a member of the Motorola Visionary Board (2004-2006), he contributed to new developments in mobile communications. Prof. Popescu-Zeletin advises on Applied Research Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fellowship Program as a member of the Scientific Board with Romanian-American Foundation.
He was chairman of the scientific council of DeTeCon International GmbH and member of the advisory board of several telecommunication companies. He is member of the advisory board of EICT GmbH, TELES AG and OpenLimit SignCubes AG and member of the scientific board ARTIE – Applied Research Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
He is Senior Member of IEEE, Doctor honoris causa of the Polytechnical Institute Bucharest, Romania and Professor honoris causa of the Catholic University of Campinas, Brazil.
Indra Utoyo is a telecommunications engineer, graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1985 (with Dean Honour). He received his Master of Science in Communication and Signal Processing from Imperial College, University of London, London UK in 1994. He has been working for PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (TELKOM) since 1986. TELKOM is the main operator for telecommunication service in Indonesia. During 1986-1993, Indra has been assigned as IT system analyst, and project manager for a number of MIS projects in TELKOM.
In 1995-1996, Indra then initiated Research and Development of multimedia and broadband services at R&D Division, the initiator of development of TELKOMNet (TELKOM’s Multimedia and Internet Service Platform). During 2000-2004 he is also initiated the development and implementation of TELKOM’s B2B Commerce, and e-Business initiatives. Starting 2006 he has been leading IT Transformation initiative, namely INFUSION, to consolidate, standardize, and integrate IT systems for OSS, Billing systems, CRM, and ERP, in pursue of lean, agile, and excellent business operation. Since 2007, as TELKOM has become Telecommunication-Information-Media-Edutainment (TIME) provider, Indra has been leading and orchestrating the development of Digital and New Wave Businesses in TELKOM Group including e.g IT Managed Services & Data Center, Cloud Computing T-Cloud, e-payment Delima, e-Health Admedika, Digital Music Melon, Super Portal PlasaMSN, e-Commerce Plasa.Com, and IPTV Groovia. In 2007, Indra created INDIGO Creative Nation, a TELKOM’s Group initiative to unleashing and nurturing digital creativity in Indonesia. One of the pillar is Indigo Digital Music Award (IDMA) which is the first of a kind in motivating artist and creator to the path of digital music era. As part of Indigo initiatives, Indra has lead the development of Bandung Digital Valley as the first Digital Creative Incubation Centre in Indonesia which was launched in Dec 2011.
He is now Chief of Innovation and Strategy Officer (CISO) as well as Innovation & Strategic Portfolio Director of TELKOM Group; and Chief of Commissioner PT. Multimedia Nusantara (METRA), a TELKOM Group company for multimedia & IME business. He is quite active in giving lectures and public speeches in a number of local and international conferences, workshops and seminars. He is also quite active in a number of professional and ICT Industry Associations including International Academy of CIO chapter Indonesia, Advisory Board of Indonesia Open Source Association, Advisory Board APTIKOM, Indonesian Engineers Association, Head of Strategic Issues and Innovations ITB Alumni Ties, Supervisory Board Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI), Board Indonesian Badminton Association, Chairman of MIKTI (Indonesian Society for Digital Creative Industries) and member of National ICT Council (DeTIKnas).
In May 2008, Indra has been awarded as Best of the Best CIO 2008 by Warta Ekonomi Magazine. In Nov 2008, he has received Asia Pacific Hitachi IT Inspiration Awards 2008 as CIO of the Year, Indonesia. In 2010, He received the 1st Best CIO from SWA Magazine. In December 2011, Indra has been selected as CIO’s ‘Executive Dream Team’ from Fortune Magazine. He wrote books: INFOKOM, Di Era Post-Technology Driven, Jakarta, Tricitra, 2006;, Manajemen Alhamdulillah, Mizan, Bandung, 2010; , and Paradox Marketing in Practise, Jakarta, 2013.
